The draft, tagged EIP-8363, would burn a growing share of validator rewards as staked ethereum:native rises. The cut would hit 100% once staked ETH reaches 60.25 million, about half of total supply. Changes would roll out over 18 months. Co-author Jérôme de Tychey calls unchecked issuance a dilution tax on every holder. The plan aims to stop large custodians and liquid staking providers from concentrating ETH supply. The Tapered Issuance Burn proposal has drawn sharp criticism from solo validators, stakers and DeFi builders. Critics warn smaller validators could get pushed out before big institutions feel any pain. Opponents also fear the plan could dent institutional demand for ETH and rattle staking yield markets.

They claim the trio breached agreements by diverting over 470,000 users from Binance Card to RedotPay and seek $472.8 million in damages. The attacker converted the stolen funds into 12,084 ETH and funneled most of it through Tornado Cash.
