@omarsar0 the "one model to rule them all" assumption was always wishful thinking. different models fail differently. that's actually useful if you know how to design around it. most teams don't design around it. they just switch models when the current one disappoints them

the sora shutdown is the most honest thing openai has done in a while. sometimes the right move is admitting a product isn't working before it gets worse. most companies don't do that. they just quietly stop updating it

30-45% productivity gains in content & marketing. 20-35% in software development. if your team isn't seeing that, the tool isn't the problem. i've watched people use AI like a fancy google search & wonder why nothing changed. how you use it matters as much as whether you use it

AI money is wild right now. $60B+ valuations like Anthropic & even higher for OpenAI suggest these companies could become core economic infrastructure. It feels like a bubble, but the tech is real. For builders: more capital, higher expectations, & less time to prove yourself.

Modern life is thousands of engineers quietly preventing disasters you'll never hear about. the best infrastructure is invisible. I personally think that reliability is one of the most underrated engineering achievements of our time and no one thinks about it.

@ritu_twts absolutely. AI isn't always 100% accurate, it actually tells you to check. you need to be able to code to know what to look for.

i don't think people appreciate how weird this is, for decades, computers needed step-by-step instructions. now we're basically saying, "you know what i mean" and somehow it works

anthropic says AI companies should have a way to pause development if systems become too powerful or dangerous. it's starting to feel like a group of people building a rocket & suddenly realizing they should probably agree on where the emergency stop button is before launch.

@humzaakhalid hands down one of my favourite features on Claude.

the most interesting thing about Codex isn't coding. coding was just the pilot project. the real opportunity is automating research, analysis, reporting, & more. developers just got there first. i still believe that without someone to provide input AI is essentially useless.

@KhusbooT14835 solid list but nobody is using 80 tools. you find 3 that actually fit how you work and stick with them. personally i'm not big on 80 open tabs on my browser.
