I then asked chat gpt some aviation questions... and was pleasantly surprised. It gave decent answers for a stuck elevator emergency, and when prompted identified the contribution of precession on rotation.

Played around with chat gpt, it does a lot of bluffing which goes nowhere and does nothing when asked some expert level questions... but answers sound good enough and could easily mislead a novice.

@Emmi_shane We did during the peaks of covid, but when the covid floor was converted back to normal, we had to return to business casual. My response time to 3am pages was amazing. I still wear running shoes though.

And its bat season... had one circling the sanctuary during the prelude, sadly, that one is no longer functional. Just now, one came into my office, where in I captured it, and escorted it outside where it proceeded to circle the cemetery.

@teandoranges See bikes4kidsmn.org The bikes they rebuild are on par with bike shop units... way better than most new from big boxes. And yes they include helmets. Sadly, Al died a ways back.

@JenniferTSands @skhanyz @GaetaAmy There will be ripples and times where things are out of sync, more so in the early days until one develops the mental skills. I tend to think such may be where abandonment occurs most often and potentially where gender may play a larger factor. /B

@JenniferTSands @skhanyz @GaetaAmy Over the long haul, one learns to adapt to change, to grumble, to go outside & howl at the moon at times... Its hard & takes time for the person suffering to adapt to loss of function, cognition, etc... the caregiver also has to do this & do so quickly to truly be present. /A

@JenniferTSands @skhanyz @GaetaAmy The toll on their bodies though, caregiving is brutal. I'm been in perpetual grad school mode for decades and get by on 3-4 hours sleep plus I'm a big guy. If I had to have more sleep, or lacked the physical stature... I was lucky.

@JenniferTSands @skhanyz @GaetaAmy Sadly, the most vocal about having faith outfits take this on, are also pretty insistent about the strings... but even with strings, they lack the resources. Many folks with good hearts... and some will rally a time or two at 2AM, but chronic illness is beyond their capability.

@JenniferTSands @skhanyz @GaetaAmy Chronic illness can run many months, or many years, or even over decades... I had a patient a ways back who was ok to be at home, provided someone was available 24/7/365 to make a call should things go sideways. Getting this covered w F&F & faith was not possible.
