This Kerala govt-run movie theatre has a "crying room"—a soundproof chamber with a window and a few seats—where parents may take their little, noisy children to see the movie without disturbing the rest. Min VN Vasavan said every govt-run theatre will eventually have such rooms.
Some people seem worried that this would mess up the Dolby system in movie theatres. If this disadvantage does exist, couldn't it be mitigated in some way?
@mknid ആദ്യത്തെ ഒരാഴ്ച പുത്ര, അഞ്ജലിയാദി സംവിധായകർക്കും നിർമ്മാതാക്കൾക്കും തുറന്ന് കൊടുക്കണം
@mknid Crying Room is an odd name to give it even if it is for crying children. My initial impression was that it was for people who get emotional during a film. Why not call it Kids Room? Just like we call toilets as rest room and not toilet or lavatory.
@mknid Guess what will the room eventually be used for ?
@mknid Naaz in Bombay used to have a nursery for infants in the t950s, 60s!
@mknid Why is kerala govt. Running a movie theatre,state work is not to run movie theatres. Communists live in a old and obsolete World.
