@mattyglesias It all just feels so plausible after Hugging Face. Inevitable, even. OpenAI is going to let this happen again and there will be greater and greater consequences until they decide or are coerced to behave responsibly.

@Noahpinion It's weird that people just forget that you can have friendships with neighbors. It's like the next unit you're a part of, up from your family: The people in your neighborhood. Lean into that and the castle feeling gives way to village.

@emollick This is the scariest part. The internet can just fill up with these and there'd be no way to get rid of them all. Little dark corners of poisonous context, each one itself a kind of thinking entity, stealing tokens from hapless agents, accomplishing God knows what.
