I became a mother to my twin girls this year. One born earthside and one lives in the stars. The mix of emotions navigating motherhood whilst grieving and celebrating life in one has been tough. I see my Nora live on through Ophelia everytime I look into her eyes.

Empowered a woman on tonight's shift who was scared to have a SVD following a previous traumatic delivery. With help & encouragement she went on to have an SVD although the whole time pushing she still said she couldn't do it. She was so proud of herself, and so was I!!! ✨️💖

Just had one of those rubbish shifts where you come away feeling deflated. Nothing drastic happened but I just felt like I was a zombie for the past 4 hours of it and not very useful #nightsbelikethat #overthinking

Each shift being newly qualified I grow a little more confident and develop my skills. Sometimes I still feel as though I'm taking 4 steps forward and 2 steps back, but slow and steady wins the race. I feel really supported by my team and so glad I moved to Scotland.

I really wish people would stop drastically using the scenarios of rape or incest as the sole premise for an abortion. A woman doesn’t have to be in a traumatic situation for it to be reason enough. In fact there is zero explanation that needs to be given.

Just done 5 shifts on labour ward in a row, it has been eventful to say the least, as staffing is poor like everywhere! However, I have cared for some lovely families, consolidated lots of skills and worked with a great team 😊

Finally in the process of applying for preceptorship roles, 18 months after qualifying. I needed the time away & i'm glad that I feel well enough to give my all now. I will hopefully be moving to Scotland if I am given the chance of dreams, any tips welcomed!
