The longer Twitter remains the only major social-media platform that is largely pro free discourse*, the bigger the disconnect between discourse here and normie blue-pilled discourse. *Yes I know many dont agree that Twitter is largely pro free discourse, no need to REEEEE
@michaelmalice Is there even a point to discourse with with the blue-pilled normies? Like Twain said, you can't reason someone out of something they were never reasoned into in the first place. And it seems like the Age of Reason is in the history books.
@michaelmalice The Reeeeing is what free speech is all about
@michaelmalice no matter how disconnected twitter is from "true free discourse" it's still by far the best of the big social media platforms. Sorry to places like gab, but you are nothing more than isolation chambers.
@michaelmalice @KurtSchlichter Is it a positive reinforcement loop though? The freer the discourse the more distinguishing the more users the more revenue?
@michaelmalice I couldn't imagine the sh1tshow this was before Elon bought it. The animosity for verified users is something else, too. Probably a holdover from the old guards abuses
@michaelmalice When I talk to people at work, I feel like we are living on two different planets. I've been around a while and seen some things - but nothing quite like this. Dystopian AF
@michaelmalice Can you imagine where free discourse would be right now if Elon hadn’t acquired Twitter? Nothing right of the big social media can compare.
