“Managing loops” is not the solve for achieving anything serious with AI. The gap between “yet another desktop assistant” and “replacing entire departments” is so much wider than most imagine. The former requires a model. The latter requires an entirely different ecosystem of primitives: high-volume task orchestration, efficient model routing, fine-grained agent permissions, scaled observability, evaluation, and institutional knowledge management. Achieving stable returns from $1T in capex will require continuous iteration on a lot more than just “an agent in a loop". It'll hinge on trench work done at the application layer scaling human capital to achieve infinite potential.
