This is another common death trajectory. You see this a lot with serious cancer diagnoses. However, you can see it with COVID too. Someone was doing well, gets COVID, and then experiences a decline over 1-2 years. It may cause or aggravate another health condition. 2/7
@michael_hoerger Many of us from the first wave, mild initial infection, then crash into deadly lethargy, are riding #3. Up down up down, organ failure. Trying not to think about it. Have yet to see anyone get better. 1540 days today, still kicking, barely. Many already gone, organ failure. Sigh
