@bmreadel He still wants and needs a role. He can ride along and do something so he is productive. Records, advance planning, fuel/maintenance coordination? I’m spitballing because I haven’t worked a harvest crew. If he’s willing and able he needs to do something but not drive.

@EngAlpine @NickRogersBTL @1Nicdar Maybe I didn't make the point clearly. It is expensive to register in Colorado (mentioned in my first post). Also, cars 10 years or older have a $3 flat TAX rate (not total registration fee). The irony is when a high value car, older than ten years, has lower tax than newer cars.

@TheMadSparky3 @NickRogersBTL @1Nicdar There a number of taxes/fees in addition to the property tax. The SOT for any vehicle has a schedule. After ten years of age the flat minimum is $3. If you have a rare collector car (not a 30 year old Jeep) then they may assess it as property and not a standard vehicle.

@NickRogersBTL @1Nicdar The tax rules are in the attachment. Generally, Colorado vehicle registration, including tax, is higher than most states. However, if you have regular passenger vehicle that’s over ten years old the tax is $3. THREE BUCKS. For a ten year old Viper or Corvette the tax is $3.

@siobhanworld It’s not cruel to keep her indoors. Yes, most love to explore but it’s not as safe for them to be out. I’ve had five cats that lived a long time that stayed inside. We have one that we take out on a leash. He’s happy being inside though and not at all aware enough to roam.

@david_shane My maternal grandparents were the first college graduates in our families. They both taught in one-room schoolhouses before meeting and marrying. Grades 1 through whatever the oldest child could handle. About 15 children.

@tanpukunokami Common in most places but lower in restricted states. 45% of US households have a gun. Average 1.2-1.5 guns per person (US). Higher in South, West, higher income, and some college education. Obviously some have none and others have many. Many have 1-2, enthusiasts have dozens.

@TalkWithSally I prefer high quality generators but they cost more. This is a good value generator. It's power supply varies some so not great for electronics (if something like a laptop is using an AD adapter then that's fine) and they are noisier than the more expensive ones. Good overall.

@notadvice While exposed to the same, we pay attention to different things. We know zero about decorating, fashion, and (sadly) cooking until forced. But the library of household maintenance, all manner of “how things work”, cars, sweat, and bad odor finds its way into our reptilian brain.
