Melt Mouse shipping update: shipments originally planned for September will now begin in January 2027, rolling out in waves. To everyone waiting, we're truly sorry. The main cause was the glass top. Reproducing its curved shape and color consistently at production volume took far longer than we anticipated. That issue is now resolved, and we've moved on to pilot production and bringing up the assembly line. Here's our July update. This month we're improving Melt Studio and refining the algorithm that learns how each person presses and where they rest their fingers. Ahead of mass production, we're repeating mold adjustments and test shots to check the quality and manufacturability of every part.

We're sharing the latest update from Kanai, Head of Electronics & Firmware for Melt Mouse, as we head into pre-production. He is currently developing the quality-control software that the factory will use during PCB manufacturing, connecting a dedicated test device to each board to verify its operation, all to ensure every unit reaches you working exactly as it should.
We’re sharing the latest update from Kamada, Head of Design for Melt Mouse, as we head into mass production. He is currently leading the meticulous tuning of every detail, from the cushioning of the front sole and the precision of the touchpad parameters to the unboxing experience of the packaging, all to ensure the perfect tactile feel.
We interviewed Mr. Kamada, who leads the design for Melt Mouse. He oversees both hardware and software — from selecting the aluminum finish for the mouse body to developing Melt Studio, an intuitive and powerful app available on both Windows and Mac.
Melt Mouse Update #3 We interviewed Muramatsu, a mechanical engineer for Melt Mouse. He is in charge of durability testing, conducting heat cycle and physical destruction tests to ensure the product's long-term reliability and improve its internal structure.
We interviewed Dr.Kenichi, who is in charge of R&D for Melt Mouse. He is currently working on shortcut functionality via the Numpad and conducting compatibility checks for Windows.
