@leaseM_87 @CoachLisaA In sport, I don’t agree that it is. It’s called retaliation and in many sports it is sanctioned more harshly than the original infraction. Players cannot be allowed to make threats or take matters into their own hands.

@RenInOz @jessbee1999 @jordiashley Absolutely cutting sarcasm aside, I genuinely don’t know how anyone could have read this discussion and believed that anyone was presenting pregnancy as a ‘non issue’. I expect better from my sport. It’s as simple as that.

@RenInOz @jessbee1999 @jordiashley Pregnancy is a physiological reality when you are actually pregnant. Once you’ve had the baby you’re an individual on your own timeline. Naming injured players with the assumption they will recover fully and regain past form is no more data driven than naming a mum.

@jessbee1999 At a time when SSN is making huge strides for mums returning to play, this feels really yuck. It’s a big squad, there’s room. Parmy has had chances before and hasn’t stepped up, ATN is coming back from a significant injury. And Macy f-ing Gardner. What an insult.

@leaseM_87 In our area the council would inspect the grounds on Friday. So if it was raining Friday they’d close them. And then you’d wake up to beautiful sunny weather on Saturday with all the games called off and an upset kid.

@wanderingfijian She’s had chances and hasn’t impressed. In SSN she relies on umpire leniency with her late and physical challenges. She’s too much of a risk with international umpires. And we have plenty of WD cover.

@JessLMas As a Swifts fan I’m very annoyed that Lightning gets the depleted Vixens while we will probably get the full strength version next week, maybe with a point to prove.
