It’s a fair question Pags. There is something to agree and disagree about with both Trump and Biden and what they have done. Neither missed on everything, or, got it all right. What this comes down to is leadership and trust. I look at it as who would I hire. Having learned from a lot of mistakes in my life, several values stand out that IMO reflect quality of leadership and trust: How do they treat people who can do nothing for them. Will people who worked most closely to them come back to work for them. Do they talk about what they will do going forward or what has happened in the past. Do they take credit or give credit to others. How do they handle the criticism that comes with the job. Do they hire for loyalty or ability. Do they create stress or reduce stress for the people around them. In a world where everything changes so quickly, are they always learning. This may be the most important. I think where I disagree with many people is the concept that what a President did one term he will do in the next term. Things change too much. The worlds of 2016 , 2020 and 2024 are all vastly different. I will vote for the person who best reflects the best of the above traits. I want someone who is most capable of handling the uncertainty of what comes next To me, it’s an easy decision.

@mcuban Why does MAGA feign shock with respect to Trump? It’s like they think it’s unfathomable that people really don’t like him. Amazing how detached they are from reality.
@mcuban I love this man! Thank you for a well thought out response. One that only a true leader of people can articulate so precisely. You are too humble to run, but in that humility resides your qualification to lead this country. I hope you will consider it for 2028.
Really appreciate the response - and I get it. I do have a business but on a much smaller scale than you -- and Trump. Trump showed us his hand when he ran in 16. He said what he would do -- and he got a lot of it done. Not going to go issue by issue -- suffice it to say, I liked our standing in the world better, our policies at the border better, our economic growth (before COVID) better, lower regulations and lower taxes better. I love your willingness to engage here.. I truly appreciate it. You and I certainly agree that it is an easy decision this November. ;). Come on the show again soon!
@mcuban Don’t care, the country is failing faster than a 3rd grader in public schools. Trump will give me at least half of what I want. Biden gives me nothing.
@mcuban Omg, we don’t need you to write a book. The fact you won’t acknowledge Biden is losing his memory and is not fit for office, baffles me. Stop being political. Get over yourself Mark. Just because you have money, doesn’t mean people have to believe what you say.
@mcuban based on your bulleted response, your decision makes even less sense.
@mcuban A lot of these traits don't necessarily have a direct impact on policy. If you believe the figurehead/"setting a personal example" role of a president is important, that's fair--it does have its own impact. But I think we should try to be clear about explicit tradeoffs.
@mcuban And you are almost right.. it should be who could you hire to replace YOU that would really get the job done.. not done the same, but done.. it would never be a Biden..
@mcuban Do we really have a choice when it's always blue vs red? Why not a viable third or fourth party candidate? Political parties in general seem counterproductive and breed groupthink.
