@chrispt you can do this by tapping on the options button, then Settings, then change the Maplets Order to 'Nearest'.
Version 3.7.3 is now live on the App Store thanks to an expedited review, resolving the map switching bug in the last version.
For those who cannot switch map layers in the latest iOS app (3.7.2), please know that a fix is underway!
