Anglicans too often miss the point of study. It’s not really about knowing useful stuff or developing clever arguments or justifying our faith. Study is a form of worship.

@Psephizo Reading the very brief extract from the book, he doesn’t actually seem to be stating that this is what Jesus taught - it seems to be more that the story reminds him of other ‘tombs’. Seems to be a bit of eisegesis all round - at least in terms of these two paragraphs.

"A bishop must have a firm grasp of the word that is trustworthy in accordance with the teaching, to be able both to preach with sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict it." Bishops (& other clergy) need to take time to study, read & ponder, not just manage the church.
