GET YOUR HEADS EXAMINED…Some people really amaze me. Do you honestly believe that if the Chamisa you constantly gaslight and vilify had agreed to be co-opted by ED, there would have been any need to hire that Chabangu as the manufactured face of a government-sponsored opposition? Do you think they would have needed CAB3 to deal with the fallout from a disputed presidential election? Would CAB3 have been necessary? Do you think they would have spent billions in taxpayers' money buying off individuals, organizations, and institutions, including some within the region, to discredit and destroy the very person they were supposedly working with? Why spend billions of taxpayers' dollars buying influence, recruiting allies, mobilizing institutions and giving cars, to destroy the credibility of someone who was supposedly on your side? Why would an ally cause you sleepless nights. Give us a break! Kwanai! Miswai! The logic simply does not add up. If someone is part of your project, you do not expend enormous resources undermining, isolating, and dismantling them. You do not wage a sustained campaign against an ally. The very existence of these efforts points to entrenched animosity. We’re chalk and cheese, oil and water. We can’t mix! And I’m proud of that record! #TheNew

OPPOSITION OF THE OPPOSITION. I do not take seriously any OPPOSITION leader or member who spends more time attacking the OPPOSITION than confronting the INCUMBENT. More energy fighting Nelson than challenging Emmerson. Surely, you cannot oppose Nelson more than Emmerson. Yes, the names rhyme. But the realities are different. One controls STATE POWER. STATE RESOURCES. SECURITY INSTITUTIONS. INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS. PUBLIC MEDIA. PATRONAGE NETWORKS. The full machinery of the STATE. The other operates under pressure, restriction, and constant attack. Yes, Nelson must be critiqued. He must be held accountable. That is DEMOCRACY. But every criticism must understand who is responsible for the state of our country, as is. Enough of the OPPOSITION OF THE OPPOSITION. Enough of acting like friends of the ESTABLISHMENT from within our own ranks. While the real power sits untouched, some are busy destroying those fighting it. Zimbabwe deserves a SERIOUS OPPOSITION focused on confronting the INCUMBENT, not weakening itself from within. ENOUGH!!

IT’S DIFFICULT TO TRUST… Considering all that I have been through, it takes tremendous strength, and an abundance of God's grace, to keep trusting people. Politics has taught me that human nature is complex. Too often, people wear masks, say what suits the moment, shift with the wind, and are not always honest. Loyalty can be fleeting, and sincerity can be hard to find. The love of money and power has destroyed many. Yet despite it all, I choose to trust. Not out of naivety, but out of magnanimity, courage, and faith. In a world that often rewards cynicism, remaining open-hearted is no small thing. By God’s grace, #Godisinit I continue to believe in the good that still exists in people…because refusing to trust would mean allowing the bad to contaminate the good. That’s my story! Blessed Sunday.

Don’t forget those who cheered him on - those who held spaces to tell us he was a champion of democracy. That he was fighting a dictator called @nelsonchamisa. Those who stood up to say they know him. They are part of this.

Imagine having a dream to migrate overseas, before you even knew how to send an email. 😅 In 2001, as I prepared to leave Zimbabwe, I had never touched a computer in my life. No email address. No Google. No Yahoo. No Hotmail. To be honest, I probably thought a mouse was something that lived behind the fridge. 🐭 I had the dream. I had the motivation. But dreams alone don’t fill out migration forms. I needed to connect with the outside world. I tried the local internet café. Big mistake. The internet was slower than a Harare kombi waiting to fill the last seat. By the time a page loaded, I had forgotten why I opened it in the first place. 😂 Then word reached some well-wishers who had watched me running around like a man chasing WiFi before WiFi existed. They referred me to Mr Hove. At his house, there was already a queue of people using his internet service. We paid by the hour and waited our turn. My first assignment? Open an email account. That’s when 7-year-old Diana Hove became my IT consultant. Picture this: A grown man with migration dreams bigger than Mount Everest being taught how to type by a primary school child. 😭 I typed with one finger. Diana sat beside me pointing at keys. My eyes were looking at the keyboard. My fingers were looking for directions. Nothing was working together. I could see the frustration in her face, but she never gave up on me. For days she patiently coached me until I graduated from “one-finger specialist” to “slightly faster one-finger specialist.” Some months I couldn’t even afford the internet fees. So I negotiated with Mr Hove to pay later. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I was probably the first person in Zimbabwe to buy internet on lay-by. 🤣 Looking back, those were my humble migration beginnings. Today, the same guy who couldn’t type an email coordinates major construction projects, works with sophisticated engineering software across multiple screens, collaborates with highly educated professionals, and is often consulted as a subject matter expert. Life can change dramatically. Never underestimate the power of small daily steps. Your current situation is not your final destination. Keep chasing that dream. Keep learning. Keep showing up. One day you’ll tell a story that sounds impossible to the version of you that’s struggling today. And by the way… I often wonder where little Diana Hove is today. If she sees this, I owe her a huge thank you. ❤️ What’s one skill you struggled with at first but later became good at?

IT WAS ALL ABOUT ED POWER GAMES…ED worked with Tshabangu to engineer illegal recalls that ultimately handed ZANU-PF a fraudulent two-thirds parliamentary majority, in clear violation of both the law and democratic principles. Unfortunately, when the recalls began, many failed to recognize that this was part of a long-planned strategy orchestrated by ED. It was never about the claims that the CCC lacked a constitution or formal structures. In Zimbabwe you can not submit party candidates to ZEC without a party constitution. Parliament and Mudenda were in possession of CCC constitution but chose to ignore it on instructions from his Zpf Boss. Those no constitution and nil structures narratives were merely a smokescreen. Some individuals, driven by their disagreements with Nelson Chamisa, celebrated the recalls, unaware that they were in fact celebrating the erosion of democracy and the weakening of our nation. The foundation for the current constitutional amendment agenda was laid in 2023 through those engineered and unlawful recalls. However, all is not lost. The real struggle lies ahead. The task before us is to continue fighting for a Citizens' Government—one that reflects the true will and aspirations of the people of Zimbabwe. The future of our country depends on the determination of its citizens to defend voice, agency and fundamental rights .

@nelsonchamisa The fight has not changed since day one which is to overturn the coup and take back the country towards civilian ethos. Anything after 2017 up to now is forced with some willing enablers sanitising through staged participation. Together we keep on fighting the real battle. Viva!
