1 in 5 households with children experience food insecurity. This means children are going to school hungry. Help us provide free breakfasts to school children across the country.
@magic_breakfast If any statistic was a sign of the Utter Failure of a Society and a Government. This is it!!
@magic_breakfast With family allowance no child should suffer food insecurity. It is their parents responsibility to manage their money. iPhones and branded clothing is not a necessity. Food is. My kids had food and clothing but not branded and I had no phone!
@magic_breakfast As little as £5 a month could help a charity executive's child through public school. Could you find it in your heart to give a little?
@magic_breakfast Why? There really used to be no excuse. During the war years mothers became very adept at keeping their families fed on very little. Bring back home economics in schools! Some parents are prioritising the wrong things. Food and shelter surely are always a priority?
@magic_breakfast Why would any parent let their children go to school hungry?
@magic_breakfast Nonsense. They can get cereals bread jam at a food bank.
@magic_breakfast But the parents can still afford drugs, Netflix and new trainers....
@magic_breakfast Can't feed, don't breed! It's a case of priorities. I'm willing to go without many things, but good, healthy, nutritious food is top priority! It's a long-term investment imo!
