So, I got tired of having the “send someone willing to mask” conversations with trades and service. I have placed this on my door. Anyone showing up not willing to mask just wasted their time, not mine. So far, so good.
Today’s went well. Fella was surprised at how comfortable the mask was. We both agreed that if this is what people associated with masks (vs. Cloth or surgical), mask wouldn’t be such a big deal. We also discussed CR boxes, asthma & the upcoming wildfire season. That’s a win!
@lymelegacy I really hope every tradesman refuses to enter your house.
@lymelegacy Well you just removed the best 90% of tradesmen. Good luck getting the contractors to return your call.
@lymelegacy You are likely that customer most are "rock paper scissoring" over to see who gets stuck with your service call, equivalent to losing a bet if they know about this already... Just saying. As long as you're alright with that, have at it
@lymelegacy What I have done is open all the windows & a few doors, put on a bunch of fans & air purifiers, closed off as many rooms as the tradesperson doesn’t need to enter, take myself into a closed room or outside, then really air it out after they leave. They don’t mask right anyway.
