I absolutely hate when I see other women with takes like this bc women have ALWAYS worked, we just didn't (& often still don't) get paid for it.
@louise122884 @Cliptemnestra I mean I don't think I would want to work in this field to be honest with you. I hate paper pushing jobs. No matter how much I'd get paid. I'd rather get paid $5 to dig a hole than get paid $25 to push paper work. But I'm a man.
@louise122884 You got paid in a large table full of grandkids and now you don't have any to show for all that work.
@louise122884 It was not work... it was duties, chores, taking care of things. You don't understand what working entails do you?
@louise122884 We just never had TikTok to talk about it. But I think our young people have inherited a horrible mess. We were really poor in the 70s, but my single mom could make a house payment on her wages as a supermarket cashier in California with 3 kids to feed. Something is wrong.
@louise122884 Anything the man had was hers, and they formed one life together. Usually, they owned a farm and worked on the farm together. My husband works, and I stay home, so anything that's his is mine. Even legally. So I make a pilots salary with good insurance staying home 🤷🏻♀️
