In the dashboard, you can see growth/decline of coins too. The last week has been pretty rough on memecoins, with most sliding in social and financial volumes.
I then went through all their financials, aggregating volumes and liquidity to give a better picture of financial stability and growth of each coin.
I first created weekly score for each coin based on caster and engagement activity on Farcaster, taking into account the number of casters that have held a given token
Generally, memecoins go through five or so life stages as they fight to be at the top.
The memecoin craze is back, led in part by the Farcaster with coins like DEGEN, ENJOY, and HIGHER. I created a dashboard that gives coins financial and social scores, so communities can understand how they stack up against one other and investors can better understand risks.

i believe memecoins are a new socioeconomic primitive or format, like NFTs. like NFTs, there will be bad ones. like NFTs, there will be innovative, interesting, and entertaining ones. it's a wide design space that i don't want to categorically dismiss this early
Interest in memecoins will come and go, and I'm optimistic that real products/protocols will develop in the end. But we shouldn't pretend that the casino doesn't set us back. Deterring great founders and giving ammo to politicized regulators has a profound effect.
the romanticization of "builders" in this space is absurd I've been using crypto since 2014 and was so tired of the complete lack of apps with use cases beyond gambling I had to build something myself what were these people who are quitting building? was it really essential?
oh also if my idea fails I will not blame "memecoins" failure means I didn't build something useful simple as
memes doing well should be exciting for builders a lot of the time these are net new market participants joining the space they are a trojan horse to get more users to use real consumer facing dapps
Seeing memecoins leading to disillusionment/churn of crypto builders to a degree more extreme than even the bear market the past few years. Increasingly find it hard to square VCs who think these are beneficial with those who also say they care about the long-term fulfilled…
