A year since @NicolaSturgeon apologised for the state’s role in the historic forced adoption of children of unmarried mothers, the apology is incomplete without action from the UK Government in Westminster. Glad @joannaccherry is leading calls as an apology is long overdue.

12 police forces who replied to our #NSAW2024 FOI stated that they had 0 dedicated stalking officers. It is crucial that officers dealing with stalking receive specialist stalking training so that stalking behaviours are recognised early, & victims don’t fall through the gaps.
