Sen Gard closing- didn't expect smoking to be last bill she presented but glad it is. Ban passes 28 to 22
Sen Buck- concerned about the 8 ft language re smoking. Can visually impaired be exempted so they don't accidentally break law
Sen Lanane- Sen Gard did the best she could but she deserves better. Bars and casinos are the smokiest places in IN- cover all employees.
Sen Lanane- wanted a stronger bill that reflects what public wants, a smoking ban in all public places.
Sen Alting- banning smoking in restaurants and the work place will impact a majority of people.
Sen Taylor- let's bring smoking back into the statehouse and see how our employees like it. This bill is about protecting employees.
