@0ddison Of course there are plenty of ABO fics that have wonderful stories and that are very well written in character, but I find that that is a very small minority unfortunately.

@0ddison I think it probably doesn't help that a lot of people will write characters OOC simply to make them seem more "alpha" or "omega" At least in my experience. I still enjoy the fics, but when I start one it's usually with the expectation that I'm not gonna get the same kinda story.

@0ddison I enjoy using it to play around with gender. In ABO world, no one questions if someone has both a dick and pussy, or just one of those, regardless of outward gender. Mpreg still gives me the ick, but I'll admit I am a sucker for "oh no, my heat, suddenly out of nowhere" fics lol.

@little_kicks101 I totally get that! I always feel guilty personally, like "I *should* be able to do these things! Everyone else is!" But I'm not the same as "everyone else" and that's not a bad thing but sometimes I gotta make accommodations for myself and that's okay.

@little_kicks101 I was in your position when I started my new job so I totally get how you feel. I got lucky and was able to change to a better position, but if I hadn't, I probably wouldn't have been able to stay. I hope you can find something quickly and easily that is easier for you to do. 💛
