@luxemiaa I thought Mother's Day was for children - of any age - to show love, respect or whatever to their mothers. Did they? Did he to his mother, if she is still around? I wouldn't expect anything from my husband!

@BBCBreakfast I came through Marseille twice last week - to and from a cruise & it was very quick. Not a huge airport so no big queues. Main issue was my fingerprints didn't register. The immigration official had to press down on the end of my fingers before it worked!

@KeruboSk I went out with a guy when I was about 18 - now 70 this weekend. He broke up with me one Thursday, on the Monday morning there was his wedding photo in the local paper with his obviously heavily pregnant wife! I did actually see the funny side after the initial shock!

@londonette @MoJGovUK Something needs to change. I attended a trial recently for a crime committed 4 years ago. Neither the prosecution nor defence witnesses could properly remember what happened. Not all cases have juries anyway, perhaps there's scope to extend that a little.

@Seny_jr @piersmorgan What rubbish. I've spent the last 5 days negotiating my way through protests about the situation in Gaza just to get out of my flat. And most weekends I have to plan journeys across London carefully as buses are rerouted, roads closed etc for protests. So there's no silence!

@Jenny_1884 NHS charges for services given to those who are visiting. The issue is not everyone pays up and it takes a lot of money and resources to follow up on this. As others have said, it is not just UK citizens who should have free NHS, those here legally and paying Ng NI & taxes too.

@Jenny_1884 Mad me laugh "rain or shine", like there's any choice about when you went to school, depending on the weather! Only once remember getting a lift, and that was in a tractor and bogie to reach school through deep snow!
