Actual shot (not AI!) of a French detective working the case of the French Crown Jewels that were stolen from the Louvre in a brazen daylight robbery. Somehow he looks like he’s smoking even without a cigarette in his hand, but surely everything you know about life is screaming at you: this case is officially screwed! To solve it, we need an unshaven, overweight, washed-out detective who's in the middle of divorce. A functioning alcoholic who the rest of the department hates. Never gonna crack it with a detective who wears an actual fedora unironically.

A few months ago, I published an article about French abortion stats and @BedBible has been harassing me nonstop to try to get me to link to them instead of their competitor. After telling me I reference the wrong source (which they have done nothing to prove), they are now threatening me and saying I somehow breached their copyright by not linking to them. I have seen lots of shady linkbuilding over the years but this is a new low.

@etihad EY4178 on 29/11 continues: now another question: where is my baggage that was being checked all the way in to BCN on a flight that already has been cancelled but @etihad still managed to get me a baggage tag?

Regarding EY4178 on 29/11: nobody picked up the call and I didn’t want to take that flight at 8pm as I have to arrive in BCN on time. No support, nothing. @etihad

Regarding EY4178 29/11 continues: Lufthansa counter told me that seems like @Etihad doesn’t update the cancellation and hence the mistake. Lufthansa told me that they could put me on another flight today at 8pm but I had to book through Etihad customer service.

@etihad continue EY4178 issue: their customer service then even resent the full booking to make sure that my journey from MUC to BCN wasn’t affected. Until my pre departure check in, they also checked my baggage in all the way to BCN, even with a baggage tag.

@etihad more regarding issues of Flight EY4178: on 29/11 they sent me a cancellation notice regarding the said flight. I contacted Etihad customer chat service to confirm the cancellation and ask for solution, and their customer service insisted that the flight wasn’t cancelled

@etihad Etihad booked me on a flight that has already been cancelled on 29 Jan 2023 EY4178 / LH1810. At their manage booking page the journey still existed with status “confirmed”. Called their customer service right away at Germany / Spain and nobody picked up.
