Yes. I don't mind rewilding if it's about cleaning rivers & red squirrels & the such, but this idea that we should just let everything get messy & overgrown bc it's better for the environment is just cheapness & laziness pretending to be green.

@TheGhostSleepi1 This is another victim of budget cuts masquerading as green nonsense. A bit like "no mow may", park planting now focuses on perennials and less water intensive management. This is sold as save the planet but is really a way to get rid of full time gardeners in parks.

@247cookie The old “train planning will sort it” doesn’t work here. The only realistic option is to remove station calls & even then there may not be platform capacity to arrive earlier and/or depart later. Or you pay for extra drivers, or remove whole services. I know which is more likely!

@247cookie @gceccles @greensignallers BHM-CDF-BHM is c.4h15, one driver, who can go to the toilet at Cardiff as required. But add in a formal allowance (10?) & will break turnaround for diagrams that shunt, & prob even those that don’t. Other examples may differ but not seen anything considering this aspect or a fix.
