I just signed a 3 year lease on an office for my firm. It took a Herculean effort on my part to overcome illness & to come back to the law. To any younger trans people reading, I know it seems rough right now. But we will see this through. Trans people can be successful in the world, despite what they try and tell us. Transphobes take note. Not everyone hates us. In fact, I’m finding the law to be quite accepting and that absolutely no one gives a shit. Imagine that.
@legaltweetz Congratulations! My team is made up a cross section of people. Some LGB, some straight some trans. In the scheme of things they are all phenomenal people who I consider to be my second family. I am honored to work with them.
@legaltweetz Amazing! Good for you 👏
@legaltweetz Congratulations! You're going to do great things with your return to law!
No one tells trans they cannot be successful. We say 'homo sapiens don't change sex, they lied to you', 'human brain develops till age 25, you can't decide on chopping your tits off when you're 13', and 'puberty is a phase, if you manipulate it, you will be permanently underdeveloped'. No one tells them they can't do jobs, have anbitions or hobbies. Actually, we keep saying the opposite: find a hobby, anything else than jerking off to anime porn or in female toilets. Is this how you're gonna practice law, by making up narratives?
@legaltweetz Congratulations 🎈 being a mother to a trans woman- your endurance is a source of inspiration I hope she will find comforting during these rather grim times for trans people of all ages.
