BREAKING: Supreme Court allows Texas to enforce immigration law nbcnews.com/politics/supre… via @NBCNews
@NBCNews "The court gives a green light to a law that will upend the longstanding federal-state balance of power and sow chaos," Justice Sotomayor writes in dissent. Kagan and Jackson also object.
@lawrencehurley @NBCNews Democrats need to get all three branches of government and expand the court. Or, have 4 of them impeached. The Supreme Court needs to be non partisan and fair. The interpret the law, they don't make it.
@lawrencehurley @NBCNews So every state can just have their own immigration policies now? You another state can just decide to accept all immigrants and grant them immunity and citizenship? Cool. Thanks, Supreme Court! Let's reopen Ellis Island!
@lawrencehurley @AnthonyMKreis @NBCNews When did Texas (again) announce its formal secession from the United States? 😵💫😵💫😵💫
@lawrencehurley @Dahlialithwick @NBCNews Having individual states make up their own immigration law seems like a really bad idea.
