🐐 Founded in 1949 and known worldwide for the goats that live on its sod roof each summer, Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant & Butik is making plans to celebrate its 75th anniversary. 🦅 The restaurant was founded by Axel Albert Otto “Al” Johnson, who served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne during World War II and was one of the first U.S. servicemen to enter the Auschwitz concentration camp after its liberation in 1945.
