JUST IN: Georgia prosecutors say it doesn’t matter, for removal purposes if *some* of Meadows’ overt acts in the conspiracy were part of his job. All that matters is whether his alleged agreement to join the conspiracy was plausibly related to his job. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
@kyledcheney Of course, that’s what Georgia prosecutors say, because they’re arguing to keep the case. What they say isn’t important, it’s what the judge decides.
@kyledcheney This is an air-tight legal argument that will likely lead to an order denying removal. The real question after that is whether Meadows will join Powell and Chesebro in seeking a speedy trial or seek a stay and a delay of his moment of reconning.
@kyledcheney Cleanup on Aisle 10! The situation highlights the weaknesses in drafting of the Indictment.
@kyledcheney I hope everything go fair at the trial without any bias!🍊
@kyledcheney This is all getting too far into the muck. In plain English- when you work for the US government, you do not get to break the law during work hours and call it work because you did it while on the job. Crime is crime, even when POTUS tells you to commit it.
@kyledcheney Good luck with that.
@kyledcheney This is not true. The law on this is very clear and even specifically mentions the Whitehouse Chief of Staff in the definition!
