I can’t be the only one that finds it incredibly perverse that top stallion prospects worth 10s of millions (eg Paddington and Auguste Rodin) are often campaigned with more rigour, adventure and less fear of defeat than top National Hunt horses these days? 🤷♂️
@kevinblake2011 I agree in a way but if I had a good horse I’d be mindful to only run him a) when conditions suit b) with Cheltenham being the big away day. Everything else doesn’t matter. Turning up when you have your racing done for the year at punchestown is only beneficial to the bookies
@kevinblake2011 Totally agree. I sometimes think top National hunt trainers need to be reminded their horse is a gelding here to give enjoyment for years, not retired as a two year old…
@kevinblake2011 @bwhorseracing They tend not to be around for 8-9 years on a racecourse.
@kevinblake2011 One reason the flat will survive.
@kevinblake2011 In 2 years Auguste Rodin had 10 races, Constitution Hill only had 9 races in 3 years. Even if Auguste Rodin retires at 4yo, CH will probably have to race for another 2 or 3 years to catch up, definitely something wrong here.
@kevinblake2011 Educate the modern day nh owners it’s not all about Cheltenham and horses can win again if they get beat. Then again Michael Buckley has been in the game a long time.
@kevinblake2011 Please can you sort U.K. racing out please we are in a hell of mess . 🤣🤣🤣🐎👍
@kevinblake2011 The Coolmore lads are all getting older & want to watch their horses especially the world class Auguste Rodin.
