"Fallout for lawyers who assisted Donald Trump in his efforts to overturn the 2020 election is coming into focus this week, as one ex-lawyer for Trump will find if he may lose his law license and another attorney is in the middle of a disciplinary trial," @kpolantz and @Tierney_Megan report. cnn.com/2024/03/27/pol…
@kaitlancollins @kpolantz They’re Attorneys It can’t be Any Surprise to them that they broke the law.
@kaitlancollins @kpolantz So this is why he had to settle for Habba…
@kaitlancollins @kpolantz Knowingly propagating lies while trying to overturn an election without any rational or legal basis belongs nowhere in the legal profession. Disbar anyone engaging in that behavior!
They're not the first Trump lawyers to face accountability, and they won't be the last. Jenna Ellis Sidney Powell Kenneth Chesebro All pleaded guilty. Rudy Giuliani has so far been found liable of defamation and will likely be found guilty of more crimes. Then there are all of the non-lawyer associates of Trump who have been found guilty of crimes already, and more are awaiting trials. Trump is as corrupt as they get. To work for him requires someone to both accept his corruption and to participate in it. Justice may be slow, but it is slowly cleaning up Trump world.
@kaitlancollins @kpolantz This should always be the end result for people trying to manipulate the courts into overturning the will of the people. And a good look to the future for Habba and the rest of the current crew
@kaitlancollins @kpolantz Notice how the Fascists cheer going after the lawyers people depend on for their freedom.
@kaitlancollins @kpolantz Best of luck to USA national in elections
@kaitlancollins @kpolantz All of his lawyers knew they were peddling lies and misinformation yet brazenly filed those cases anyway. Severe breach of ethics and certainly worthy of disbarment.
Attorneys who willfully and knowingly pursue nefarious legal actions should be held accountable! Eastman, Clark, Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, Jenna Ellis, Stefanie Lambert, Rudy Giuliani, Lawrence Joseph, Julia Haller, Brandon Johnson, and others have or are likely to face disciplinary action from the BAR.
