@jzaraterod @dereckapurnell There should be a public access option to get similar whole body imaging initially when patients reach the age colonoscopies are recommended, that is an inexpensive copay, proactive preventative care baseline effort to improve overall health outcomes. x.com/lalasoo/status…

@jzaraterod Yep. I recently asked my dr about the lung cancer scans and was told insurance won’t cover it even though I grew up in a household with a smoker that died of lung cancer.
@jzaraterod @nycsouthpaw And you can report this to your state's Dept of Insurance and the Attorney General. If Insurance Companies are denying doctor-recommended tests, this goes against state regs, if I remember correctly.
@jzaraterod @deray Rich person spending money frivolously isn't the cause of the lack of funding for everyone else's medical care. If they're going to spend money frivolously, spending it on explorative medical stuff isn't the worst use. Will yield data that can be used to help others
