@peaches00001979 I’ll go vote and you keep posting 😉 contest is almost over - come on people lighten up. Someone finally brings a little fun to the TL !

There’s an old saying, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder,” but I’ve never really bought into that theory. When Louis is on a break, I take the opportunity to listen to other artists and other genres. The old, worn-out playlist gets an update 😉 and I’m thankful for friends who say, “Hey, you’ve GOT to hear this!” If it weren’t for them, I’d probably still be stuck on repeat… Walls, FITF and How Did We Get Here? 24/7. Not that I’m complaining. It’s still my favorite music. But stepping outside the box every once in a while is good for me—even if it can be a little uncomfortable. About as uncomfortable as the cowboy boots I wore to the Ella Langley concert last night. 😂🤠 Knoxville gave her a warm reception including a few boos for Texas, the lone star state. LOL Ella is absolutely gorgeous, ridiculously talented and somehow still seems genuinely humble through all of this success. That combination is pretty hard not to like. And congratulations to her on that #1 hit and its incredible run! She’s clearly having one heck of a moment right now, and judging by last night, she’s earned every bit of it. 🤠🧡 So yes, Louis…I’m branching out. I wore cowboy boots. I listened to country music. I had a GREAT time. Look what happens when you leave us unattended for too long. 😂 Maybe absence doesn’t make my heart grow fonder after all. Maybe it just gives me time to discover how much other great music is out there while I’m waiting for him to come back.

@peaches00001979 You’re posting Some great stuff 🤣🤣!! Keep it up !

I saw it and I voted 28 times …..your turn!

@UnoffclPleasing @Harry_Styles @Louis_Tomlinson I feel as if this next era may be my favorite and I don’t even know what’s ahead 💚

Kudos to Harry Styles for discovering that the next best thing isn’t always about the next best thing to acquire — and for having the courage to step away from Harry Styles the persona and get back to just Harry the person. Even in my 70s, I still have friends chasing the next big thing — the bigger house, the better car, the career, more money, more stuff. It’s a vicious circle that some people never escape. So I’m proud of Harry for seemingly figuring some of this out at such a young age. Because eventually you realize the best things in life have been, and always will be, your health, your family, the people you love, and what you leave behind in the lives of others. I don’t think Harry’s going anywhere. I think he’s just growing up, figuring out who he is when the lights are off and nobody’s watching. Let him be. Let him live. Let him be Harry. 💚

Sometimes I want to just leave all the noise and then I remember the good always outshines the bad! I love everyone’s memories, pictures and videos they share with us. I love hearing stories about new friends from all over the world meeting up and sharing their love of music. I love seeing fans of all ages encourage the solo fans. We may not all like the same artist ….just like we don’t all like the same pizza 😂 but the fans and friends I’ve met…..we all respect each other! There’s the difference. Gosh I hate to even do this but like Harry said “ respect your mother “ I’ll say “let’s respect each other”

Remember when there were five young men we loved and supported? Five incredibly talented guys, each completely different and unique in his own way. Sadly, now we only have four artists to choose from. Four careers to follow, four different sounds, four different personalities. Love one, love two, love three, or love all four. Lucky us to still have so much great music to choose from, right? So what is happening in these fandoms? Harries, Louies, Larries, antis, solos… when did being a fan become a competition to see who can make someone else feel less worthy of being here? Why so much hate toward each other when these guys are doing exactly what we supposedly love them for — making us happy, giving us great music, and sharing little pieces of their lives with us? Did I miss the rulebook somewhere? Is there a test? A membership committee? Do we earn points for loving one artist more than another? And why are some fans mad at Louis? The man has practically disappeared off the face of the earth. He’s been in hiding, minding his own business, and somehow he STILL gets dragged into the chaos. That takes talent. And Harry… give it up, sweetheart. You are NEVER going to please everybody. Add more concerts? Not enough. Lower prices? Still not enough. Change this, change that, go here, don’t go there… Sometimes I genuinely wonder what Harry could possibly do that would make everyone happy. Probably nothing. Can we normalize being nice and appreciate all four without tearing down the artist we don’t prefer — AND the fans who prefer someone different? There’s room for Harries. There’s room for Louies. There’s even room for Larries, Niallers, and Zayn fans. There’s room for people who love them all. And there’s definitely room for those of us who have absolutely no idea what category we belong in anymore. 😂 And Louis… wherever you are, stay there just a little longer. 🫣 At least until the initial panic over Harry’s new concert dates settles down and everything sells out. It’s safer there. 😂❤️

@peaches00001979 Thanks for the update !!

Louis vs. Harry?? Seriously? 😂 I like Harry. I really do. But you’re asking us to choose ONE? Sorry, Harry. Nothing personal. You just have the unfortunate luck of being put up against our Louis. 💙 Some decisions require careful thought and consideration. This was not one of them. LOUIS. Every. Damn. Time. Just like the cover says….Louis’ turn

Calling all Louies !

@FangirlLT369 Can’t wait to hear about ! Have fun !

Damn you, Louis Tomlinson. 🤬 I prayed your break would be my break too. But NOOOO… apparently that’s not how this works. I’ve listened to new artists. I’ve gone back to my pre-Louis playlists.
I’ve even made a new playlist just to avoid your songs!  And yet… there you are. Every. Damn. Time. Your songs are like those creepy little f’kers that stalk you guys —they keep popping up where they aren’t invited. 😡 Apparently I’m not capable of taking a break or hiatus …..I’m just between Louis songs. 🤦‍♀️ And you’re really enjoying watching us struggle, aren’t you ?

I remember asking Louis to throw us a crumb once in a while….. Well, apparently he heard us. Thank you @Louis_Tomlinson What a great guy and what a GREAT crumb. 💙 No complaints here! We’ll take it, overanalyze it, stare at it 28 times and then patiently wait for the next one. 😂

@Cashm66 @Louis_Tomlinson I was lucky enough to see your happiness ! Great memories.

I wonder why we become so attached to certain artists? Why Louis Tomlinson? What is it that makes grown women—with families, careers, grandchildren, responsibilities and entire lives of our own—check for Louis news, travel to concerts, make friends with other fans and genuinely miss him when he disappears? Is it boredom? Loneliness? Is something missing from our lives? Maybe for some of us those things play a part. But I don't think that's the whole answer. Not even close. Maybe it's much simpler. He brings us joy. Somewhere along the way, life became very responsible. We spent decades working, raising families, taking care of other people, paying bills and doing all the things adults are supposed to do. Then suddenly something—or someone—comes along that makes us excited again. There's a concert, a road trip to plan and friends to meet. Maybe new songs to hear. Something completely unnecessary yet ridiculously fun to look forward to. Maybe that's what we're really following. Not just Louis. We're following a feeling. Music can take us somewhere that everyday life doesn't. It can remind us of who we used to be, introduce us to parts of ourselves we haven't seen in years, or simply give us permission to have fun again. And Louis happens to be the person whose music, personality and story connected with something in us. Does it occasionally get a little ridiculous? Oh, absolutely. 😂 A man in England can disappear for two weeks and suddenly a group of perfectly sensible women are examining a blurry photograph like we're working for Scotland Yard. “Is that Louis?”
“When was this taken?”
“Those look like his SHOES!” 🔎😂 But underneath all the silliness is something pretty wonderful. Friendships have been made. Trips have been taken. Memories have been created. People who might never have crossed paths now talk every day because one singer somehow brought them together. So maybe the question isn't - What's missing from our lives that makes us follow Louis? Maybe it's- What has following Louis ADDED to our lives? I think that's the more interesting question. 💙 So I'm curious—especially from the over-50 crowd: What has being a Louie added to YOUR life? Pic of a few of the over 50’s crowd at the AFHF - all added to my life 💙

What a legend. RIP Dolly

Cheers to the Louies who are just here for Louis. 🥂💙 There’s an entire group of Louies who simply choose not to engage in the negativity. We don’t repost unkind comments or unflattering photos. We don’t feel the need to weigh in on every rumor, repeat gossip, or spread things when we have no idea if they’re even true. We’re just here to enjoy Louis, the music, the friendships, the laughter, and all those wonderful memories social media lets us relive. So while Louis is off on a well deserved and needed break we’ll keep sharing the songs, the concerts, the smiles, and patiently waiting for Louis to throw us a crumb. 😂💙 Seriously, Louis. ONE CRUMB. We’re not greedy. ☺️ So raise your glass, Louies. 🥂 Here’s to good music, good memories, good people💙

@FangirlLT369 @Louis_Tomlinson Just a bit of banter….no secrets here.

I know things.🧐 Things you’d LOVE to know. Secrets, stories, and probably a few things that would make your jaw hit the floor. But unfortunately for you…I’m excellent at keeping secrets. So I’ll just sit here, sip my tea, and let you wonder. 😏☕️😂 When things get too loud ….Louies get louder 💙
