@langstonwertzjr This is a mixed bag. The people who overruled the DQ are the same ones who put the rule in place and emphasized it during the mandatory coaches and officials training at the first of the season.

@DCPandC I think most of these guys feel like it will take a few years to be competitive. But I don’t think we had anyone who couldn’t be replaced with a similar player. They don’t have an Ethan Petry on the roster.

@TheBigSpurOn3 @SportsMediaJB There is no one on the current roster that is not replaceable. We didn’t have a reliable fielder a consistent hitter or a pitcher who scared anyone. We weren’t even good running the bases.

@DanWetzel It is not new. It’s been a rule in all high school sports for several years. Officials are human some don’t see any gray area. The best bet is not to give the officials something to call.

@CoachKTinsley @MSCarolinas_ @HighSchoolOT At the beginning of the season officials and coaches are required to go to a meeting where the sportsmanship rules are stressed. There is also a coaches and captains meeting with the head official where this is discussed.
