🚨READ THIS. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.🚨 ICE has kidnapped a U.S. citizen. An immigration attorney, Victoria Slatton, has a client who was BORN IN MARYLAND, a U.S. BORN CITIZEN, and ICE took her into custody on December 16th. That alone should terrify you. But it gets worse. Her legal team filed habeas corpus, the legal protection meant to stop the government from disappearing people. A COURT GRANTED IT. The judge issued an injunction stating she: -CANNOT be deported. -CANNOT be moved out of the jurisdiction. Because she is a U.S. citizen. Born in America. ICE ignored the court order. Even after being given her valid U.S. birth certificate, ICE moved her anyway, transferring her to Louisiana, a location widely known as a final stop before deportation. Let me say this again, because it should make your stomach drop: THIS WOMAN WAS BORN IN THE UNITED STATES. DHS is now: -Ignoring a federal court order -Holding a U.S. citizen -Denying her access to her lawyer Her attorney didn’t stop at a birth certificate. They provided: -Immunization records -Sworn affidavits from people present at her birth - And has personally confirmation from the hospital that records of her birth exist None of it mattered. Despite overwhelming proof, DHS is still refusing to release her and is actively transporting a U.S. born citizen across state lines, in direct defiance of the court. This is not “border security.” This is not “law and order.” This is the federal government deciding it can erase citizenship on a whim.

@elonmusk @farzyness @SawyerMerritt It is time for us to end oil and gas subsidies that are distorting the market. We need to transition into the energy that is going to be most efficient. Subsidies are supposed to be strategic to get something off the ground, such as scaling battery manufacturing, not permanent.

Cybertruck FSD crashes into coworkers car. Not a good look, I was showing a friend how awesome FSD is. We drove up the street and back and this is how it pulled into a parking spot. @cybertruck @Tesla @WhamBaamX I’ve logged thousands upon thousands of FSD miles and this has never happened.

Some people are mad at Trump for showing off Teslas at the White House today, but in 2021, Biden held an EV summit and invited GM, Ford, and Stellantis—but not Tesla. He showed off an all-electric Hummer EV and a Jeep Wrangler Hybrid. Teslas are the #1 most American-made cars. Unlike GM, Ford, and Stellantis, every Tesla sold in America is built in America by American workers. Tesla's Fremont factory in California is the single most productive auto plant in North America. When you buy a Tesla, you are buying the best product, the safest vehicles, and supporting American jobs as well as a company doing more than any other for the environment and to push sustainable energy forward.

To be clear, what the @DOGE team and @USTreasury have jointly agreed makes sense is the following: - Require that all outgoing government payments have a payment categorization code, which is necessary in order to pass financial audits. This is frequently left blank, making audits almost impossible. - All payments must also include a rationale for the payment in the comment field, which is currently left blank. Importantly, we are not yet applying ANY judgment to this rationale, but simply requiring that SOME attempt be made to explain the payment more than NOTHING! - The DO-NOT-PAY list of entities known to be fraudulent or people who are dead or are probable fronts for terrorist organizations or do not match Congressional appropriations must actually be implemented and not ignored. Also, it can currently take up to a year to get on this list, which is far too long. This list should be updated at least weekly, if not daily. The above super obvious and necessary changes are being implemented by existing, long-time career government employees, not anyone from @DOGE. It is ridiculous that these changes didn’t exist already! Yesterday, I was told that there are currently over $100B/year of entitlements payments to individuals with no SSN or even a temporary ID number. If accurate, this is extremely suspicious. When I asked if anyone at Treasury had a rough guess for what percentage of that number is unequivocal and obvious fraud, the consensus in the room was about half, so $50B/year or $1B/week!! This is utterly insane and must be addressed immediately.

Disappointed to see GM kill the Origin. Would have been amazing for cities. GM repeatedly finds themselves with a 5-10 year head start, but then fumbles the ball, shuts things down, and loses the lead. Anyone remember the EV1? It’s like someone keeps letting them look into a crystal ball and then they just go, “nah, we’re good”
