@joshcowenMSU @senandyzay what do you have to say about this? Republican super majority in IN state legislature for many years has failed us. Now will you fail us as our representative in Congress? Change or give up.
@joshcowenMSU Also troubling that Speaker Huston is pushing to expand vouchers while privately benefiting from 'consulting' with for-profit education companies.
@joshcowenMSU @INDSRSA State Senator, Linda Rogers, is pushing a bill so that Charter Schools can force closure of a Public School. So that the Charter School can buy the building for $1. And then defund the public school by taking that tax funding and move it to their school
@joshcowenMSU the only this proves is that half measures fail universal school choice is a completely different approach and data from half measures is not applicable
@joshcowenMSU Indiana's children deserve better than the failed #schoolvouchers program. Doubling down would only compound the damage. It's time for a new approach to education policy. #INed"
@joshcowenMSU got a push poll that was heavily testing pro-charter school voucher narratives. Including taking money that would go to public schools and putting it towards charters from property tax revenue
