As I start rummaging through my builder’s skip for tatty old bits of wood, I can’t quite work out what they think. The workers are Polish, so it’s not easy to tell. From their quizzical looks, I suspect the young lad is thinking, how can you afford to live here?

It’s not the obvious and self-confessed Caravaggio rip-off that upsets me; thousands have done the same. It’s the fact that over 3k RTs mean a lot of you think this is good art. It sums up what is wrong with this space at an artistic appreciation level. I couldn't let it pass. ☹️

Does anybody do any actual work anymore? I have the builders in reconstructing a wall, and every time I look out, they are looking at their mobiles. The last time they were here they said they had given up on NFTs, I'm not so sure!🙄

According to Twit-X, it’s my second anniversary here. That’s two years, I’ll never get back! What have I learnt? Not much, if I’m honest. But I have spent more on buying art than I’ve made selling it here, which is my fault entirely because I rarely ever mint work. C’est la vie!

Good morning art lovers ☕️ I live and work in the real world, not a fantasy world, and despite abstract art being the purest form of imagination, my work is still influenced by real life. I have the builders on-site at the moment so my inspiration comes from observing them.
