It is unacceptable to have hundreds of thousands of people out of work. This goes beyond @sagaftra. There are crew members, caterers, laundry services, prop & costume houses, hair & makeup, teamsters, etc…. all struggling to keep a roof over their heads. My heart goes out to all members of @IATSE @Teamsters @directorsguild @CDGlocal892 @WGAEast @WGAWest who have suffered greatly during this work stoppage. I implore the AMPTP to do the right thing and get back to the negotiating table. Nothing can be accomplished by walking away.
@jes_chastain @sagaftra Pretty sure the actors and their millions in salary can help these "desperate" people.
@jes_chastain @sagaftra Thank you for raising awareness that this is not just about actors, but is brutally affecting the entire film and tv industry.
@jes_chastain @sagaftra I thought the SAG/AFTRA strike was in solidarity with the WGA. Now that the WGA has settled, why are the actors still on strike? Serious question, not meant to be snarky.
@jes_chastain @sagaftra I implore both sides to get back to the table. We are struggling out here. #FilmCrewStrong
@jes_chastain @sagaftra So glad to see you out on the line. Thank you for your help in this fight.
@jes_chastain @sagaftra So give them 50% of your residuals !
@jes_chastain @sagaftra I wonder if @sagaftra should start their own independent studio that is owned by actors?
