I normally lay low on social media debates. But the amount of hate in my feeds from men re: Caitlin Clark tipped me over the edge today. It is exhausting as women to see women torn down for being fierce, strong, competitive, outspoken, unapologetic competitors. We. Are. Tired.
@jenalyson Then get a nap in. This happens to all big time athletes; often from rival fanbases to try and nitpick greatness. That you notice that it is largely men should tell you that CC has successfully crossed over.
@jenalyson I think some men don’t like that Caitlyn could likely compete in the men’s league (college for sure, maybe even NBA)
@jenalyson It doesn’t have anything to do with her being a women.. i love the women’s game and women’s sports it’s more entertaining for sure. However, my issue with her is she complains and cry’s when doesn’t get her way even her dad acknowledges. It’s about her attitude.
@jenalyson It's not because she a woman. Caitlin Clark has bad characters flaws that are not being mention in the Iowa Media.
@jenalyson Yeah, I don’t really watch basketball, but from what I’ve seen, I don’t really understand the hate either. I saw videos of her fired up during her games, and from a person who played almost every sport there was in school, I dig the emotion and passion. 🤷🏻♂️
@jenalyson Yeah, men never get attacked for acting rude, childish or immature Thank god that’s never happened
@jenalyson You may want to keep laying low. You’re being absolutely savaged in the comments. This has nothing to do with evil men disparaging strong women; it has everything to do with calling a whiny brat a whiny brat.
