.04 - QB Dak Prescott Dak Prescott was absolutely on FIRE 🔥 last season, finishing as the QB3 in all of fantasy football. Pairing him with Juston Herbert will give my team a great foundation to be competitive for years to come. #AskJBC
.04 - Traded away for the 3.05. I saw a couple players I liked, so I moved back one spot and moved up six spots just a little later to have two picks in the 4th. #AskJBC
.05 - Christian McCaffrey The only thing that is holding CMC back from being THE dynasty RB1 is age, as he turns 28 this season. That said, he’s built different, and he continues to dominate on a weekly basis. Particularly in this league, he was the SECOND HIGHEST SCORING PLAYER INCLUDING QBS in 2023 fppg! 👀 That type of ceiling raises his value immensely. #AskJBC
.09 - RB Jonathan Taylor Many teams are going WR heavy in the draft. This is the popular thing to do and has shown success. I’m zagging while they zig, picking up another top 5 dynasty RB in the 4th. CMC and JT in the backfield should pay dividends in 2024 and beyond. #AskJBC
.10 via Trade - WR DJ Moore Two top QBs: Herb and Dak Two top RBs: CMC and JT I wanted to get a talented WR1 on the team, and DJM was sitting there for the taking. It’ll be fun to see the chemistry build between Rookie QB Caleb Williams (Bears better draft) and DJM. #AskJBC
.08 via Trade - QB Deshaun Watson I plan on winning, so in my mind this is moving up a spot from 6.09 to 6.08 in the startup for a few spots in dart throw rounds of 2024 rookie draft like 4.12 to 5.03. Very cheap price. #AskJBC I already have Justin Herbert and Dak Prescott, but I went with another QB because as bad as he’s looked, Watson has a track record of fantasy production and a very good situation he’s returning to. In SuperFlex, you’ll never get QBs cheaper than in the startup draft. This was good value for a player who was once a perennial top 5 guy. 👊
.04 - TE Travis Kelce I was choosing between Travis Kelce and David Njoku. Njoku is younger, more athletic and came on strong toward the end of last season. That was with Joe Flacco under center though. With Kelce confirming that he’ll play for this upcoming 2024 season and potentially beyond, in a TE Premium league, I felt he was worth the pick here. 👊 #AskJBC
.09 - QB Will Levis In SuperFlex, starting QBs have weighted value. You’re never going to be able to “buy” a QB for cheaper than drafting them in a startup. While needs said go WR, this was a value pick. I’ve never been all-in on Levis, but the Titans certainly seem to be at least for this season. They have surrounded him with weapons to succeed. Levis to me represented an asset who could essentially see his value rise in a way that the WRs available wouldn’t be able to. #AskJBC
.02 via Trade - WR Chris Godwin I traded up a few spots for a 2025 5th round rookie pick. It was a super cheap cost to nab a WR I consider pretty underrated. There was a tier drop after him, so I made the move. Yes, Mike Evans and Baker Mayfield have chemistry, but Godwin quietly put up his third 1000 yard season Ans should continue to improve. #AskJBC
.09 - WR Christian Watson I was actually planning to go with another workhorse RB at this stage. Joe Mixon was hanging around, but I must have telegraphed it somehow because another manager traded for the pick right before mine and swooped in on Mixon. I decided to pivot to WR. DJ Moore and Godwin are solid, but Watson represents youth with a lot of upside. He could very well be the Packers WR1 but is being drafted well after fellow WR Jayden Reed who went in round 7. At cost, give me the upside in Watson. #AskJBC
.01 - QB Daniel Jones When it comes to drafting starting QBs in a SuperFlex startup, I admit that I might go too hard. Daniel Jones isn’t a sexy pick, but the NYG brass looks like they’re giving him another shot once he heals up from injury. Again felt like too much value to let pass by me this late. This brings my QB count to 5: Justin Herbert Dak Prescott Deshaun Watson Will Levis Daniel Jones #AskJBC
.08 - RB Austin Ekeler Will Ekeler be the RB that finished as THE RB2 and RB1 in 2022 and 2023? Or will he resemble his less efficient 2024 self that saw a dramatic drop off in production? I say that we will see his efficiency go up from last season, but that his volume takes a step back, which should offer weekly starter value at the flex. Time for him to rock out in the nation’s capital. 👊 🎸 #AskJBC
