Another thing, conservatives, do not mention that Arabs, Black Africans, Native Americans, or white Europeans, or other Black Americans owned slaves, too. It does not excuse the American government's behavior.

I call it like I see it. You will ultimately lose the reparations argument. Black people, like Dr. Martin Luther King, are 100% RIGHT ON THIS SCORE! He didn't ask for reparations for bondage, though. Black people will get reparations but nothing can fully repay Blacks.

This is how you deal with reparations. Say this: 1. I, as a white person, do not owe anybody. My ancestors came over after slavery had ended. 2. The U.S. gov't does owe reparations; it sanctioned bondage and gave poor whites an economic floor in 1862 homestead Act. Done:)

Those states did not free anyone but they were at essential war with the union. Maryland stayed in the union and kept their slaves. To destroy the south, 13th Amend.

For instance Abraham Lincoln repugs supported strong central gov't. Dems - strong state gov't. Now Dems want strong central gov't and Repugs strong state gov't.
