For me the difference between buying and selling: In buying you have to maximize your profit and in selling you have to minimize your loss every trade.

As trader we have to be very dynamic, doesn't matter we are full time trader or part time. That comes with experience as well until then keep doing low risk trades where we will get enough time to think and adjust our positions when trade go against us.

Not a good day. After long time lost 4k. My positions were more on long side. Premiums also built up in the second half. Hopefully market will recover on Monday else will book the loss. Part of the game.

Today no intraday as not clear with the directions. Just adjusted my positions, converted all my long positions into strangle. 8k profit positional, good start of the week 😊😊

I was not expecting market to close at days low but market don't behave as i think. Done some adjustments today and sold some extra calls at the end to manage if market open down tomorrow. Intraday profit 2k. Positional loss 1k. Overall 1k profit today.

As market is confusing everyday. I have decided not to buy or sell anything in a hurry, working out well. 3k intraday, 5k positional profit today. Totally 8k.

In option selling, Below are the High risk high reward to low risk low reward order. Expiry Stock Options Banknifty Nifty I does all and my main profit comes from nifty.

I started weekly positional option selling which was going good but I know most of the option seller make most of their profit by expiry. So, I have also tried but burnt my hands many times. Finally stopped 6 months back and decided to learn first (1/2).

Now again started expiry in small quantity. Done 4 last expiry with 2-3 L margin. 28 Nov: 3K profit 5 Dec: 5K profit 12 Dec: 4K profit 19 Dec: 3K profit Will continue in small quantities for few more months.
