There are certain things that Christians must say, and must not. There are certain things that Christians must do, and must not. No matter what the current cultural or political climate, no matter what it may cost you, there are certain baseline musts that every Christian submits themselves to. These are the everyday trials of faith. Are you willing to look like a fool in front of the new CFO? Willing to lose that contract? Your job? Lose prospect of career advancement? The way up is down. I’ve found in my own personal life and business experience, time and time again, that when we just do the things we know we are supposed to do, it doesn’t just “work out,” but it works out wonderfully better than we could have imagined. So, Christian, you may find yourself in this place today. Hold fast. Trust your King. Confess when you haven’t. And then watch.
