🚨 Lisandro Martinez calls out Manchester United's recruitment following the loss to Atletico in an interview with Amazon. "We had a fantastic season last season and now we expect more from the top." Q: This is not a UCL-quality squad? Did you expect more investment in the summer? "Yes, 100%. "I expected more from our technical director... "[Carrick] does his best... You can keep changing, changing, changing the manager, but what about other areas? I can't say more. "It's easy to say the coach. It's easy to say the players, but we also have to 'see' others [who are to blame]."

🚨🎙️ - Lisandro Martinez: “The performance was poor, really POOR. I have to control myself. “It mirrors our club currently. This isn’t a Champions League quality club. “I expected more investment in the summer. I have to be honest.”

Manchester United is saddened by the passing of Ana Merodio Borja, beloved mother of Atletico de Madrid captain Koke and U19s assistant coach Borja Resurrección. We offer our condolences to the family at this difficult time and invite supporters to join the two teams in a minute’s silence ahead of kick-off tonight.

He took players on, Sundowns has better, more experienced players in that midfield, they only get unsettled when you force them to run backwards trying to stop players without fouling, if you think you’re going to play at the tempo&just pass around them then good luck

Carrick has to go. I’ve seen enough. I didn’t want him to get the job in the first place, he has to be removed.

Spurs played well, they were unlucky took Carrick too long to make the necessary changes, United can’t survive for a large part of the game and rely on short bursts, overall Spurs didn’t deserve to lose so United got what they deserve

Sundowns deserve their win, you could see Mbatha lacked match fitness, good to see him back though, Pirates needs him
