According to this 🤡 interviewer, #SalmanKhan built #KatrinaKaif’s career… but was not able to do it for Sangeeta Bijlani or Somy Ali in the past, and still couldn’t for Iulia Vantur. #AkshayKumar has traded creativity for a corporate quarterly-release machine, where volume shifts focus from each flop before it sinks in. Remakes feed it perfectly: ready script, attached director, easy studio financing on a pre-validated concept — ideal for his 30-40 day shoot/film policy. But the proof of concept stopped transferring long ago, his last remake that actually worked was Holiday, back in 2014, well before COVID. Dubs and streaming only finished what was already dying; since then it’s Laxmii, Bachchhan Paandey, Selfiee - each flop dragging down the next opening. This is a real tragedy: he is an actor with comic timing few stars possess, a performer of genuine range, who has reduced to a content assembly line.
