I heard you like education knowledge graphs... here's grades 1 and 2 for reading, writing, math (built this for my daughter) Kids are incredibly capable, we're just teaching them the wrong way Showing 463 skills, 9601 learning items, 155 hrs of productive learning time

Agreed, especially for other countries and cultures like SG! It’d be interesting to see if people can come up with a repeatable process for creating these from public curricula like you’ve started exploring From a learning perspective, the outcomes are what matters. The scaffold/skills/nodes along the way don’t matter as much as long as you (or the engine) can break them down finely enough to unblock a student when they’re stuck. That’s where most schools fail today and mastery engines can fail in the same way

Love the spirit of this, but it’s very idealistic. Between politics, warfare, and capitalism it’s difficult to see this actually happening near term. The US & SV are not known for slowing down until/unless catastrophe forces their hand. The only way to prevent larger catastrophe might be to experience smaller ones, if not only to put hubris back in check along the way. This post along with Satya’s make me think the flywheel is already turning so fast that even the world’s leading tech companies and CEOs can’t get a handle on it. That leaves little faith for others to do so. It’s a silent scream into the wind. Like kids, most people won’t understand the consequence of an unknown action until it’s viscerally felt. Experience being the hard teacher, giving the test first and the lesson after.

Thanks! Planning to do all of that, including real course data (at least the courses I’ve created) None of this is sacred to me, and I don’t need to make money off of anything Hoping others will contribute curricula from around the world Would you want a sort of white label to deploy or just learnings to incorporate? (Both valid and useful, just trying to shape my deliverable)

I’ve been inspired by others, but am having a hard time seeing a $40k price tag be put on a child’s future when the software & curricula are fairly standardized There are enough experts & LLMs to create affordable education for all How can I help?

Along the way, I’d also like to build up UI/UX to help others to quickly build their own learning platforms I’ve already built 100+ reusable UI components I want education to win so I’m looking for which picks and shovels to build to best empower educators and builders

Fwiw I’m just a parent who built something because school wasn’t working, and what I built for my daughter does More energy on positive change, less on hate for people trying to be that positive change Thankfully our school has a lot of coeducation for parents to help so I actually have spent ~ a hundred hours in class to see why it wasn’t working this year Those kids “goofing off” want to learn, and yeah they want to be kids. Schools aren’t prisons, they should inspire people to learn. They should be built for kids, and goofing off and learning should equally be part of that experience Schools feel like they were built for adults and not kids because of this All great design “hides the vegetables”… you get people to do something challenging without directly shoving it in their face. Everyone wins Anyone who is around kids knows we have a lot more to learn from them than they have to learn from us. A life of learning through playing is one of those lessons

This is basically what I built for my daughter in Montréal for 1) price and 2) culture & language fit via superschool.ai I get their biz model but not sure it’ll solve education for all. It’s more an Apple vs Android play I’ve found everyone is smart enough to solve most problems, we just focus on solving the wrong problems and end up solving them I don’t want to solve for $40k/year educations and regret solving it when there’s a clear solution for much cheaper / free
