@shermantanker Its a hardline answer persistent or not. The servers in the server must be persistent however they are PR speaking around the topic. Instead of the above the answer should be the server browser will have persistant servers. Currently custom matchmaking is incompatible with that.

@MnKSpdi No I read it. Its a top tier conspiracy theory. They haven't magic'd up a way to get better hit reg on 150 ping. And they don't play their to abuse it. They play there because they don't have servers. They play on Australian servers as well and its nothing out of ordinary

Crazy that in 2026 we are still saying high ping(over 100) is an advantage. There is no logical way 140+ ping leads to better hit reg. Its often said "BUT! Peekers advantage!" Yes both players get that except the low ping gets better reg. x.com/mnkspdi/status…

@mindflexor @SilkOCE @IceManIsaac Again you are conflating concurrent numbers to weekly active users. Additionally that number from Playstation was during Season 3 launch when PC was 70-80k concurrent players that puts WAU at between 1.5 and 3 million players on STEAM alone.

@mindflexor @SilkOCE @IceManIsaac That isn't concurrent. Thats a rolling window of players each unique player that has launched the game. Of the last reported 23 million sales PC is estimated to be 12 million of those. Thats PC beating both Xbox and PS5 combined. PC is still leading the charge.

@IceManIsaac @SilkOCE They say in the second mention that its Battle Royale not Ranked Battle Royal. Its a free to play title that was marketed quiet a lot at release it even got its own special release. It dropped ranked and died in one of the largest regions in the world within 4 weeks.
