to all who celebrate, i wish you a very happy anniversary of the surrender of the traitor robert e lee & his defeated army of northern virginia -- april 9, 1865
one of the things i like most about this day is that if you, the reader, are happy about this anniversary then i am happy. if you, the reader, are mad about this anniversary then i am happy about that too a great day
@iAmTheWarax Robert E. Lee never committed treason, and you are going directly against what Grant wished for at Appomattox. You are a savage.
for the curious, this monument is the grand army of the republic memorial within forest lawn cemetery in buffalo new york. inscribed: 1881 This monument honors the soldiers and sailors buried here who fought to save the Union, 1861-1865. [east side] Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. One country one flag. [rear] By the Erie County Burial Association, of the "Grand Army of the Republic" [west side] The penalty of treason is death. No north no south. The Union forever.

@iAmTheWarax Now do victory over Japan day? Wait, what flag were they flying again? Was it old glory, eeewiee that's .....
@iAmTheWarax Here is how the actual veterans felt. I love it when modern civilians who never served a day love to re-fight a war that the actual veterans got over a century ago.
