NEW: Manhattan DA's office says Trump has violated gag order for the criminal trial seven more times. DA wants new posts — links about trial witnesses like Michael Cohen — included in the Tuesday hearing to address the issue and is still considering what sanctions they want
Manhattan DA prosecutors previously raised three instances of Trump allegedly violating the gag order before the start of trial. DA consequently asked Trump to be fined $3,000, but that seems likely to be reassessed. DA also wanted Trump to be warned he could go to jail.

@hugolowell Let's not forget the penalty includes up to 30 days in Jail for EACH VIOLATION
@hugolowell it seems desperate, but if he can get a judge to lock him up, even if just for a few hours, he’d have a “YUGE” gripe to inspire his fervent cultists. this behavior is reprehensible and repeated and what will make him stop? 🛑
@hugolowell $3,000? As if that will stop him. Trump might not be as rich as he claims, but I’ll bet he can afford three grand.
@hugolowell 1 strike, 2 strikes, 3 strikes you're out!! The law doesn't apply to trump, they're afraid to enforce it because of his 1st amendment rights. Wouldn't that add intrigue, trump sues the state for a violation of his 1st amendment rights? Trump is gaming the system.
@hugolowell To be warned? Again? He has been warned already so many times but he keeps on violating the gag order bc he knows there won’t be any consequences.
